Setting Up Kids Mode: A Complete Guide

IPFlix Pro Player includes robust parental controls to help you create a safe viewing environment for children. Here’s how to set it all up.

Why Kids Mode?

Kids Mode allows you to:

• Create separate profiles for children
• Filter content to show only appropriate channels
• Lock adult profiles behind a PIN
• Maintain separate watch histories

Creating a Kids Profile

1. Open IPFlix Pro Player
2. Navigate to Profiles
3. Select Add Profile
4. Enter a name for the profile
5. Toggle on Kids Profile
6. Set a 4-digit PIN (required for kids profiles)
7. Save the profile

Setting Up Content Filters

Kids profiles use whitelist-based filtering. This means only channels in approved groups will be visible.

Adding Allowed Groups

1. Open the Kids profile settings
2. Go to Content Filters
3. Select Allowed Groups
4. Choose channel groups appropriate for children (e.g., “Kids”, “Cartoons”, “Family”)
5. Save your selections

How It Works

When a Kids profile is active:

• Only channels from allowed groups appear
• Adult content groups are completely hidden
• The EPG only shows approved channels
• Search results are filtered

Protecting Adult Profiles

To prevent children from accessing adult profiles:

1. Go to any adult profile’s settings
2. Enable Profile Lock
3. Set a PIN
4. Now switching to that profile requires the PIN

Tips for Parents

• Review your playlist first: Check what groups and channels your IPTV provider offers
• Start restrictive: Begin with fewer allowed groups and add more as needed
• Use obvious names: Name allowed groups clearly so you remember what’s appropriate
• Test the profile: Switch to the Kids profile and verify only safe content appears
